Festival summer: dispose of your empty vapes properly!

The summer festival season has begun. And that's why we're also out and about at the festivals with our vape campaign, ensuring that e-cigarettes are disposed of correctly. Next weekend, two events will be attracting visitors out of the house. The Festi' Neuch - Neuchâtel Open Air Festival will take place in Neuchâtel from 13 to 16 June 2024, while Zurich will host Zurich Pride on 14 and 15 June 2024.

Our green vape collection boxes will be set up at the information stands or bars on the festival site. Empty e-cigarettes can be handed in there easily and free of charge. In this way, we want to ensure the correct disposal of e-cigarettes. Unfortunately, empty vapes still too often end up in the rubbish instead of being recycled. This is despite the fact that vapes, puff bars and the like are all electrical appliances and can cause fires if handled improperly. By returning them to the vape collection boxes, we ensure that e-cigarettes are recycled in an environmentally friendly way.

By the way: Vapes can also be returned free of charge to all collection points and vape shops thanks to the advance recycling contribution (ARC).
