Ink-U-Beta AG develops electronic sun protection aids under the brand name "sun-a-wear". Their mission is to help people reduce the negative effects of UV exposure and benefit from the positive effects. This thanks to a revolutionary, easy-to-use, wearable sensor technology in everyday clothing and accessories.

Their wearable UV tracker "sun-a-wear" was launched in Switzerland in 2022. It helps in the healthy management of solar radiation and consists of a micro-UV sensor that can be worn as a wristband or with a clip. The sensor measures how strong the UV radiation is and sends this information to the connected app.

With the free app, users can monitor their UV exposure, receive personal sun protection tips and are warned as soon as a critical UV radiation exposure is reached.
