Global Recycling Day 2024: Switzerland is mucking out.

18 March 2024 is Recycling Day. On this day, numerous campaigns are organised around the world to highlight the key role that recycling plays in protecting resources and the climate.

In Switzerland, Recycling Day is being held for the seventh time. It has established itself as an important element in raising public awareness of recycling.

The motto for Recycling Day in Switzerland in 2024 is «Clean out!»

In a nationwide campaign on posters and via social media, people and companies are encouraged to clear out their basements, cupboards, desk drawers and workplaces and collect recyclable materials. 

Numerous municipalities, collection points and organisations are drawing attention to Recycling Day and organising their own local recycling events.
