Festival summer: dispose of your empty vapes properly!

It's that time again - Caliente!, the biggest Latin festival in Zurich, is taking place this weekend. Hot rhythms and culinary delights will not only attract visitors to the Kasernenwiese in Zurich, but also us! Together with the support of Captain Clouds, we'll be collecting your empty vapes on the festival site.

Watermelon, mango, strawberry or would you prefer coconut? Vapes are available in many fruity flavours. But did you know that they also contain valuable materials such as lithium, nickel or cobalt? Yes, because they are electrical appliances that should be recycled after use, where these raw materials can be recycled and then returned to the cycle. However, the heavy metals they contain must also be disposed of properly in order to avoid polluting the soil, for example with leftover vapes. 

It is therefore important that empty e-cigarettes end up in our green vape collection boxes. They are distributed around the festival site or can be handed in to Captain Clouds supporters. We will take care of their proper disposal for you.

Do you have empty vapes at home and don't know what to do with them? Thanks to the advance recycling contribution (ARC), you have already paid for recycling when you buy your e-cigarette. You can therefore return them free of charge to all vape shops and other points of sale, such as kiosks.
