Immark AG Aarwangen opens new recycling plant for refrigeration appliances

Immark AG Aarwangen had reason to celebrate on September 17, 2022. After one year of construction, one of the most modern recycling plants in Europe was festively inaugurated by Immark AG in Aarwangen.

At its new location, Immark AG specializes in the professional processing of refrigeration equipment. This is an extremely important process for our environment, because refrigerators and freezers contain pollutants that must be safely removed.

We were present at the reopening with our campaign "Let go! Reuse recyclable materials instead of wasting them" and showed the numerous visitors the mysterious world of electronic waste in the container exhibition. How do you actually recognize an electrical appliance and how many valuable and harmful substances are contained in it? Exciting questions that were vividly answered in the container. 

Our virtual reality glasses also provided fascinating insights into the recycling process. Fun for all visitors, young and old. The 360-degree videos provide an all-round view of a recycling operation and let you get up close and personal. 

The professional recycling of refrigerators is good for our environment. We are all the more pleased that Immark is putting one of Europe's most modern facilities for refrigeration appliances into operation. We wish you much success!
