The Recycling Congress 2023 is planned as a hybrid event

What challenges does the municipal waste management sector face? What is coming from the EU to Switzerland in terms of regulations? And what new innovations and trends are there in the sector? These and other questions will be addressed at the Recycling Congress on Friday, 27 January 2023 in Biel (BE). The event will now be held as a hybrid event with live streaming.

On 27 January 2023, the popular Recycling Congress will once again take place in the Kongresshaus Biel. Waste and recycling managers from municipalities, cantons and the federal government as well as associations, waste disposal companies and recyclers will meet at the annual industry meeting place. In addition to specialist presentations, the congress is also a platform for personal exchange. 

Attend on site or from home

After the event had to be held digitally this year due to the COVID 19 situation, it will be held as a hybrid event for the first time in 2023. The audience can choose whether they want to participate in the congress on site or via livestream. The industry event is organised by Swiss Recycling and the Swiss Municipal Infrastructure Association. ASTAG (Swiss Commercial Vehicle Association) and VSMR (Swiss Steel, Metal and Paper Recycling Association) are acting as event partners.
